The Following Policies have been adopted by the PCMSC Board:
Anti-Discrimination Policy
The Park City Mountain Sports Club does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, or sexual orientation in any of its activities or operations. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members, who must be adults of 21 years or older, and guests.
Dogs at Club Events Policy
It is at the Club event leaders’ discretion whether dogs would be allowed at individual Club events. This does not apply, of course, in areas where dogs are not allowed. Club event leaders and participants should be aware that most local government ordinances require dogs-on-leash and that dog fecal matter should be picked up and properly disposed. Club participants are encouraged to comply with all rules and regulations regarding dogs. Responsibility for compliance with these ordinances lies with each participant, not event leaders or the Sports club. Club event leaders, as volunteers, cannot be expected to and will not be asked to police whether event participants comply with these local ordinances.
Event Policy
Any event or activity not sanctioned by the Club must be presented to the board for an independent case by case evaluation of whether to sanction the proposed event or activity. In order to be sanctioned it must be consistent with present types of events and activities conducted for our members, must generally only be open exclusively to our members as a team or event, lead by a member(s) and also be determined by the board, using sound business judgment, that it is in the best interest of the members and the Club.
Guest Privileges Policy Prior to Membership
We do allow guests, new friends and other non-members to try us out before joining to ensure our Club is of interest. All guests, new friends and non-members who have participated in three (3) activity and/or social events will be required to join the Club before participating in a fourth (4th) event. If membership payment is not received prior to or at the fourth event then participation in any further Club events will not be allowed.
Membership Policy
We welcome any person twenty-one years of age or older to become a member upon completing and signing the Membership Application and Activity Release Form.
PCMSC reserves the right to amend the membership dues and format any time. The PCMSC Board will notify all members of such changes.
You may join our Club at anytime but the term of dues expire at the end of the calendar year. To continue yearly membership, payment of annual dues must accompany a signed and received copy of the Membership Application and Activity Release Form. Annual dues are collected beginning November 1 of each year. When any member has not made a payment of dues by January 31 of the year, the membership of such person will automatically be terminated.
Outside Vendor Policy
It is the policy of the Park City Mountain Sports Club to protect membership names, list and email from charities, vendors or other groups who wish to demonstrate or speak about their products or organization
